Intestinal, pancreatic and bile duct tumors

Cancers of the intestine, pancreas and bile ducts are among the most common tumors in the abdomen. Thanks to modern diagnostics, minimally invasive surgery, targeted drugs and innovative radiation technologies, there are now a wide range of personalized treatment options – even for more complex disease progressions.

Holistic cancer therapy for tumors in the abdomen

At the Cancer Center of Wiener Privatklinik, we offer a comprehensive care concept for malignant tumors in the abdomen – including colon and rectal cancer (colorectal carcinoma), pancreatic carcinoma and tumors of the bile ducts. Diagnostics are carried out quickly and precisely using the latest methods – from endoscopy (e.g. gastroscopy, colonoscopy) and imaging procedures such as CT, MRI or PET-CT to molecular analysis of the tumor tissue.

Treatment decisions are made as part of an interdisciplinary tumor board – with the involvement of experts from gastroenterology, visceral surgery, oncology, radiology, pathology and radiotherapy. Individually combined treatment options are available: surgical interventions – also robotically assisted – are combined with innovative system therapies and – if necessary – radiotherapy. The aim is to provide each patient with treatment that is tailored to their personal situation, highly effective and at the same time as gentle as possible.
